Play-N-Hookey, a 44' Jersey at Newport Beach, CA

2 150W HID Thru-Hull SeaLites® 5 to 6 feet apart in the transom and 8 to 10 inches deep.

Bill says "I love mooring in Avalon and turning on the lights as the lighted region behind the stern quickly becomes an aquarium for the kids and they love swimming with the fish at night. I get quite a few people stopping by inquiring about the lights as they are by far the brightest ones in the harbor. The intensity of the bluish / white lights really penetrates compared to the other lights if seen, which is really apparent if you're approaching the boat in a dingy. The water glows much further than you can see simply standing on the stern.

What's been pretty amazing is the last two times I turned the lights on at the slip, I've had Barracuda crash the bait and even Octopus swimming on the surface through the lights. I've enjoyed the lights so much that I almost want to put one in the bottom of my dingy (it's a Rigid Bottom Inflatable). I think cruising around the harbor or Avalon would be a blast "
