DeepSea Power and Light

Kevin Hardy is VP at DeepSea Power & Light, where he works in technology adaptation, technical marketing, and business writing. Prior to joining DeepSea in 2007, Kevin was a Senior Engineer at Scripps Institution of Oceanography where he traveled pole-to-pole and all around the globe on research ships from many nations. His instruments have successfully made the round trip to as deep as 35,500-ft, and survived below the north Polar Ice Cap for a year. He’s worked with the National Geographic Society, and lead a submarine team into the "Guinness Book of World Records". He is a Fellow of the Marine Technology Society. Hardy was awarded the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Presidents Award in December 2008, by Dr. Neil Duffie, President, SME, Dearborn, MI.
